The final song that Gojira played at the Perth Soundwave festival 5th of March 2012 they pulled Fredrik Thordendal from Meshuggah to add another guitar on stage and Devin Townsend on vocals. (Recorded on a Samsung Galaxy S2.)

    I was in for a better surprise when as I were walking up the hill to see Gojira, I saw Devin Townsend being driven up to the same stage 45 minutes earlier. It was a red mid-2000s Commodore, red-ish with no hubcaps. He was the front passenger. I were an arms-length away as heslowly drove past. :)

    I now have a case that has an optical zoom lens for my Samsung Galaxy S2 so I could easily capture videos and pictures from afar next-time on a whim. I tested it out fully today out on the ocean while on a Yacht. :) Worked a treat, so should work just as well at any other concert from such a distance away. It'd be like I were in the front row.

    The audio was from those massive tower speakers that are designed to BLAST the music out to everyone far away, that is why it is so bad. But the fans at the front of the stage will hear fuck-all from those, that is why the band has their own amps on-stage for the people up front in the pit. THEY get the best sound, pity the bouncing around and bottles thrown about would ruin most videos... I didn't want to risk my GS2 in there as I own it and it is not insured. Water + GS2 = DEAD!!

    $2 sounds way too cheap - must be a catch of some sort such as - staying in the front row of the band through their entire set-list. :P It's what i'd do if I were the band on stage... My band only plays Friday evenings. I play every day though. It is called practice.

    just went to the signing tent and had 2 buy a ticket to meet them was $2 was the best $2 i spent lol they were tellin me how hot it was and if it is always that hot in Perth and other sutff
