    He denied another footballer a chance at playing at a major tournament. Deliberately too. If there was any justice in football then mertens should be banned from playing for the next major tournament that Belgium qualify for.

    was probly mad cuz of the english player "obstructing" him from the ball.. id say he earned the broken jaw lol. mertens never makes such faults on purpose, seen him play a lot hes just a very fast agressive attacker wich suddenly snaps the ball off and scores. also they run fast wich doesnt allow him to stop immidiatly so might not have been a "push" on purpose. anyways this is proof that hugging goalkeepers gets u broken jaws !

    He appeared 37 times in all competitions(despite the fact that he was injured several times during the season) and you are calling him a benchwarmer??? comparing to kelly kelly that appeared only 18 times and contributed to marvellous campaign of pool.
