The Washington Capitals have eliminated the defending champion Boston Bruins with a 2-1 victory in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference quarter-final series.

Joel Ward scored the winner in overtime, making it the seventh straight one-goal game of the series, an NHL record.

Matt Hendricks opened the scoring when he deflected a John Carlson shot in the first period to give Washington an early advantage.




Tyler Seguin found the back of the net at 14:27 in the middle frame to pull the Bruins back to even.

    If that is goalie interference why didn't Thomas appeal the play? Oh yeah because it wasn't. Only Bruins fans can find an excuse to cover their loss

    We can agree then it's asinine logic. However, if Tim Thomas being critical of big government that's currently headed by a black man makes him a racist, then any of 666siren's criticism of Tim Thomas must equally be based on his race. This is 666sirens foolish standards, not mine. The logic sounds ridiculous when you turn it around on the progressive mind. You and I can agree that not all criticism is about race but can be simply a difference of opinion.
